Strategy Signal Service Rules
1. What is the Strategy Signal Service?
The Strategy Signal Service is a performance-based earnings mechanism on RockFlow for Verified Strategy Providers. When subscribers copy a verified strategy and generate realized profits, the platform collects a signal service fee at the agreed fee rate from each profitable trade and credits it as strategy earnings. No fees are charged when a copied trade results in a loss.
2. Fee Rate
- The fee rate is set by the Verified Strategy Provider, ranging from 1% to 10%.
- The fee rate locked in at the time a subscription plan is created will not change even if the provider updates their rate later — existing plans remain unaffected.
- Providers may update their fee rate once per quarter (up to 4 times per year); changes take effect in the following quarter.
3. How Signal Service Fees Are Calculated
3.1 Calculation Basis
- Fees are calculated on realized profits only; unrealized gains and losses are excluded.
- A minimum profit threshold applies per order — orders below this threshold are excluded from fee calculations.
3.2 Formula
Est. Signal Service Fee = Realized P&L per Order × Fee Rate
3.3 Fee Reclaim Mechanism
- When a copied trade results in a loss, the platform reclaims a proportional amount from previously collected fees and returns it to the subscriber.
- The reclaim amount cannot exceed the total fees contributed by the subscriber within the current period.
- Each settlement period is calculated independently — balances do not carry over between periods.
Examples
| Scenario | Outcome |
|---|---|
| Profit of $100 (10% fee rate -> $10 collected), then loss of $50 | $5 reclaimed; net signal fee for the period = $5 |
| Continuous losses; cumulative estimated fee is negative | No further reclaim; actual signal fee = $0 |
4. Settlement Schedule
- The year is divided into four settlement periods: Q1 (Jan–Mar), Q2 (Apr–Jun), Q3 (Jul–Sep), Q4 (Oct–Dec).
- Settlement occurs after each period ends.
- Estimated settlement date: the 15th of the month following the period end date.
- Settlement Amount = Cumulative Actual Strategy Earnings − Platform Operating Fee − Other Fees
5. Fee Disclosure
The following fees may be deducted from your strategy earnings at the time of settlement:
| Fee Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Platform Operating Fee | Charged by RockFlow; see the settlement period details page for the exact amount |
| Other Fees | Any additional applicable fees; see the settlement period details page for the exact amount |
6. Fund Flow
- When a copied trade is profitable: the signal service fee is transferred from the subscriber's account to the platform's fee pool.
- When a copied trade results in a loss: the reclaimed amount is returned from the platform's fee pool to the subscriber's account.
- After settlement: the net amount is paid out to the Verified Strategy Provider's bank account, and the transaction is recorded in the fund activity log.
